This workshop was designed to meet the high demand from audiovisual productions, which are actively seeking operators trained in the latest and most advanced imaging technologies.

Or Ligne Studio – An immersive space near Montpellier, dedicated to training and audiovisual creation, supported by Spot Studio. An exceptional natural site equipped with high-end equipment.

Ronin 4D Workshop

35 hours (5 days) - Or Ligne Studio

In the presence of David Lee Brown, Ronin 4D operator for the series Adolescence, you will learn how to:

  • Understand the features of the Ronin 4D and its applications
  • Practical filming with the Ronin 4D and real-life scenarios

A week of intensive training on the Ronin 4D, DJI's latest stabilizer, designed for the most demanding sequence shots.

A 100% practical training course tailored for experienced cameramen, operators, and technicians.

    Maximum 10 participants per session.

  • Program summary

    • Discover the Ronin 4D: understand its features, 4-axis stabilization, and the shooting contexts it’s best suited for (documentary, commercial, narrative, music video).
    • Technical Mastery: learn how to assemble, disassemble, calibrate, and balance the gimbal, while adopting proper posture and techniques to follow actor movements safely.
    • Dynamic Filming: practice shooting on the move, including vehicle-mounted shots or with moving subjects (horses, riders), ensuring smooth, readable, and safe framing.
    • Practical Application: apply the skills to commercial or corporate shoots, managing composition, pacing, and visual intent to showcase the subject or product effectively.
